FREE WEBINAR: Clinical Auditorium: Future Proofing Clinical Audit Teams - How to Stay Relevant

This Clinical Auditorium led by Clinical Audit Support Centre will be focusing on the current challenges facing clinical audit professionals and local teams. 2025 has already been a historic year with NHS England working on a new national strategy for clinical audit, the publication of the NHS 10 Year Health Plan, plus the release in July of the Dash Review. These publications and strategies will unquestionably impact on those working in clinical audit and from discussions at previous auditorium events we know local audit teams are shrinking, often operating in the shadow of QI counterparts and invariably not linked to key patient safety initiatives. The main purpose of the conference will be to explore how clinical audit professionals can diversify and enhance their career prospects. Once again, we will also be looking at how we can change negative perceptions of clinical audit and help key leaders understand the invaluable and multi-dimensional role audit plays in healthcare.

It gives us great pleasure to announce that we will be joined again by Nancy Dixon from Healthcare Quality Quest. Nancy is a clinical audit and QI expert with huge strategic experience of working in the field across the world. We collaborated with Nancy for the previous two Auditoriums, so it is fabulous to be linking in with her again. The programme below provides further details on what will be covered, but this session is relevant to ALL healthcare staff given the generic nature of topic presentations. The conference will focus on key skills involved in delivering a quality improvement project and explain how to use After Action Reviews (the popular PSIRF learning response tool). We also hope to incorporate a fun rapid brainstorming session to explore how we can better market the value of clinical audit and conduct a rapid mini census to find out how local clinical audit is faring in 2025.

This webinar aims to empower everyone with an interest in clinical audit and QI and as much time as possible will be given over to question and discussions.
