Sexism, misogyny and sexual harassment remain real issues in many workplaces — often driven by cultural norms, unconscious bias and unchallenged assumptions about gender and power. However, attempts to challenge patriarchal norms often result in disengagement or defensiveness from men and boys. Dialogue shuts down in a context of fingerpointing and people become fearful of ‘getting it wrong’.
This training supports leaders to recognise these dynamics, understand their responsibilities, and take meaningful action. Through practical discussion and reflection, participants will develop the confidence to challenge sexist behaviour in a constructive, inclusive way that opens up dialogue and affirms the importance of mutual respect. This is a proactive, leadership-focused programme is designed to strengthen workplace culture and help all staff address harassment appropriately, and promote a culture of respect, consent and equity, thereby reducing the risk of harm, exclusion and inequality.
